Alting, Klinker, and Truitt to Host Cooking with the Troops Fundraiser
Hosts Senator Ron Alting, Representative Sheila Klinker, and Representative Randy Truitt are pleased to announce a fundraiser for Cooking with the Troops, a local charity supporting U.S. and Allied troops worldwide:

7 p.m.
Adelino's Upstairs
112 N. 3rd Street, Lafayette
The fundraiser will feature a silent auction of items donated by local businesses as well as items from celebrities including Gretchen Wilson, Jeff Foxworthy, Maureen O'Hara and Phyllis Diller. Entertainment, hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar will be available. Tickets will be $25 per person and can be purchased at Adelino's. Jeff Smith of WLFI will be the master of ceremonies for the event, and the steering committee includes Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski, West Lafayette Mayor John R. Dennis, Greater Lafayette Commerce Program Manager Resa Hodnett, and Chef Tracy Rosa of Adelino's.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Adelino's, reserved by calling Adelino's at 765-429-6125, or by e-mailing name and number of tickets requested to this address.
The goal is to raise $25,000 to fund the organization as it works to support U.S. and Allied troops, their families, and caregivers around the world. Businesses can participate in two ways.
